The Masks

Brain Injury: Since Nov. 1977: military service, auto accidents, stroke, mini strokes, electrocution, eye surgeries.

Explanation of Mask:  Inside: The inside mask is the way my emotions that I use to have before.  I knew about the Brain Injury Alliance of MT (BIAMT) and the resources I received from Kristen Morgan and the BIAMT and Billings Montana Support Group, Ian and fold there in Billings.  You all have helped me move forward and I am still working on the outside mask with my physical limitation and living with my brain injury. 

Facing the new normal: Billings Support Group helped me overcome isolation and made me feel welcome, and understand what I have been living with since my military service in the 70’s.  Thank you!
