Brain Injury:  Bicycle Accident

Explanation of Mask: My name is Steve and I am 76 years old. I have a strong passion for classical music as I have played piano since I was three and am a big fan of Beethoven. I sustained my brain injury in 1997 when I was hit from behind by a vision impaired driver while on a bicycle and was thrown through the windshield. After being in post hospital rehabilitation, childhood memories of playing L. Van Beethoven resurfaced early in my recovery and continue to be with me today! This is why I decided to decorate the forehead of my mask with musical notes.
