Brain Injury:  Caregiver

Explanation of Mask: I am my wife, Sandra’s, caregiver.  ​My mask is decorated from right to left in a lot of lively colors representing a life that was very interesting and fulfilled. We skied, we scuba dove, we traveled. While doing something we truly loved, skiing, our life changed abruptly. For me, I went into a major gray area dealing with Sandra’s injury and waiting. It wasn’t good but she didn’t die either so that’s why it is gray and not black.  After going through tons and tons of medical procedures and therapies and were starting to come out on the other side now. We are travelling again and having a lot of fun and a more fulfilled life.
