Explanation of Mask: If I ever make a bucket list, the first thing that will be on it is to visit every country in the world. So far, I have only seen about 1/4 of it. I am 47 years and 1 month old and I am originally from Sacramento, California. In 1971, my family moved to West Africa. I absolutely loved living in West Africa because it was so different from where I lived before. The food, the culture, the people…all of it! I would really like to go back one day if I can. I got my brain injury about 8 years ago when I was at a bar shooting pool at 3:00 in the morning. While I was leaving the bar, I was suddenly jumped, robbed, and kicked repeatedly in the head. For my mask, I painted it green, red, and yellow to symbolize the West African flag. ​​
