Brain Injury:  Shot in the Head

Explanation of Mask: ​I am 35 years old, and I like listening to rap music, especially songs by Lil Wayne and Jay Z.  Something that I am very proud of is that I can now walk after being very dependent on a wheelchair in the past. I am now starting to do more physical activities to keep my body strong and in shape.  I sustained my brain injury 11 years ago when  I was robbed and shot in the head. I have feathers on my mask not only because I am “fly”, but because I am flying through my brain injury.
