Explanation of Mask: I graduated from Lake Superior State University with a degree in forestry to ensure I would work outdoors, among the trees. I was particularly fond of fishing in streams and could tie my own flies. After my injury, I found many outlets to foster my relationship with nature. I have attended Camp Barefoot for many years and it has allowed me to enjoy the outdoors, albeit adaptively. I like to watch nature films as they bring me back to the world I miss. I am somewhat of a “birder” and enjoy watching birds at my feeder. Upon awakening, I great those closest to me with, “Top of the morning!” A fresh new day to bask in nature’s splendor.
