Brain Injury: I was in a car accident 11 years ago and T-Boned by a drunk driver.

Explanation of Mask:
My injury happened 11 years ago – but it still feels like yesterday.
The words on my mask describe me most of the time.
The brain in front of the left eye is in reference to how the TBI dominates my thoughts, emotions, actions, etc.
The person sticking out of the right eye is trying to get out and become who I was before – which is humorous and liked to be with people.
When making this mask the two words that overwhelmed my thoughts were shameful and embarrassed. It is so difficult to explain how TBI has impacted my life – my sibling has become cynical. I don’t understand it myself.
