Brain Injury: Traumatic brain injury and anoxic brain injury resulting from a car accident.

Explanation of Mask:

• The red is for anger for the car accident and the loss of memory and depression.
• The black eye is for getting hurt in the wreck and the surgeries needed after that. “I felt like I got beat up in the wreck.”
• The ‘S’ is for Silverado, my new truck. “It makes me very happy, and I feel very blessed.”
• God is #1 in my life. That is why He is up top.
• Depression: I fought depression really hard.
• Brave: I’ve had to be brave to deal with all the shortcomings and challenges.
• Miracle: I died but was brought back to life.  It’s a miracle that I’m still alive.
• American Flag: We’re in America, and I love my country.
• Deer Rack: Because I love to hunt.
