Brain Injury:  Stroke

Explanation of Mask: ​​My name is Kim and some of the things I like to do are shop, eat, and read magazines. Something what makes me happy is being around and working with younger children. This is why I chose to become a day care provider. I acquired my brain injury  after having a stroke, which is also why I now utilize a wheelchair. I decided to paint my mask yellow because it reminds me of the bright sun and bright colors make me feel happy. I also wrote the word love on my forehead to represent my loving and caring side.
